While cash gifts for current use are vitally important, endowments are the bedrock of all great universities. Once fully funded, your gift produces annual income to support the endowment’s purpose for years to come. Endowments provide certain, steady support in perpetuity.

Funds invested in UNC Asheville endowments help to offset continued reductions in government support and enable us to plan for the future with greater predictability.

What kind of endowments can I establish?

Endowments can be established to support a variety of areas within UNC Asheville. Typical endowments provide funding in the form of scholarships, departmental discretionary support, professorships, and visiting lectures.
